Welcome to American Life Publishers (formerly known as Oral Heritage Productions)
American Life Publishers is a full-service publishing company dedicated to providing
all Americans with the means and the access to document their family, corporate, or
institutional histories. Our mission is to broaden the knowledge of our nation's history
by capturing the everyday experiences and perceptions of its people and to ensure that
our knowledge of the past is not limited and attributed to a privileged few, but rather
encompasses the vast experiences of all Americans. In the end, we seek to foster a
greater awareness and a deeper appreciation for the unique role that each individual
plays in creating the larger narrative we call history.
Through written work, oral history interviews, historical research, and photo collections,
American Life Publishers creates historical products that reflect the unique identity of
each client, while placing each story within a larger historical context. All of our finished
products are designed to inspire, educate, and capture our shared human experiences. A
wide variety of services and options are available to encourage the completion of any
history, regardless of budget.
